Magnolia Rose- Private Event Rental Information:

 

Rental Fees:

  • Monday-Wednesday: $375 for 2 hours

  • Thursday- $425 for 2 hours

  • Friday- $475 for 2 hours

  • Saturday- $800 for 2 hours

  • Sunday- $575 for 2 hours

*Each additional hour is $100/hour, you have 30 minutes before your event for set up.

* After each event our staff helps with clean up for a smooth a easy transition. You are responsible for taking any items with you that you brought in that you wish to keep. Everything else Magnolia Rose will clean up and thrown away.

 

Capacity/Information:

  • Our space is growing and quickly filling with more inventory. This means we don’t quite have the capacity that we used to for larger groups.

  • For SEATED events our comfort level is approximately 25-30 people.

    • We provide all the tables and chairs for events. We have rectangular tables and basic white folding chairs.

    • Table clothes can be brought in by host(ess) or you can use the ones we have on hand which are basic white, sage green or pink.

  • For SOCIAL/COCKTAIL events where you don’t need full sit down seating, we can accommodate approx. 60 people (this does not include utilizing our outdoor space)

    • With this option we leave our seating area in tact, we put out smaller 4 person tables as well as scattered high tops

    • This is good a good option for networking events, birthdays, graduation parties, more social get togethers, etc

  • Guests are responsible for any additional décor such as table decorations, signage, balloons, etc. Magnolia Rose in itself is a unique and pretty space with lots of florals and plants.

  • We do not put our inventory away for events. We do move as much as we can out of the way to make sure the set up is comfortable and gives guests enough room, but we cannot make everything disappear. If you wish for us to put up curtain walls to hide inventory it is an additional $250 charge.

 

Food and Drink:

  • We do not have a full kitchen on site- we offer light bites and snacks and can do custom group cheese boards if you would like that as an add on (price is based on number of guests)

  • We recommend planning ahead for food and having it catered or bringing in your own food for groups and events that want more full meals.

  • IMPORTANT: NO outside beverages are allowed to be brought in for private events. Magnolia Rose has a liquor license and outside drinks are not permitted

  • What we offer (please read carefully)- water, lemonade, soda, sparkling water, juices, mocktails, nonalcoholic wines, iced coffees, hot coffees, teas, beer, wine, and cocktail options

  • For parties there is no set bar package pricing but we do have different options:

    • Full open bar- guest can pick anything they would like to drink (drinks are priced individually and tab is paid by host(ess) at the end of the event

    • Mimosa Bar- we set up a mimosa bar for your group and that is the only drink option besides a water and lemonade stand set up. The mimosa bar has both sparkling, sparkling rose, and non alcoholic prosecco options + 4 different juices + fresh fruit. Pricing is based on the amount of guests and is added to the room rental fee which will be paid at the end of the event

    • Non-alcoholic open bar- you have the option to only offer non alcoholic drinks at your event. This would include everything from the list above excluding beer, wine and cocktails. Total for the tab would be paid at the end of the event with the rest of the room rental fee.

  • You are welcome to cover the cost of drinks for your guest, you can set an amount to cap your drink tab at, or guests can pay for their drinks individually.

 

Add on activities:

  • Magnolia Rose offers add on activities if you wish to do something as a group

    • Flower bar- average for a small wrapped bouquet is $18-$25 per person

    • Pressed floral frames- $30 per person (this includes the frame and all the pressed flowers in an array of colors

    • Pot painting- $28 per person (this includes our smaller size pots (approx. 3”), the painting materials and a small plant)

    • Blind date with a book- $30 per person (you give us the genre of books you would like, each guest gets a book to cover, decorate, etc. At the end of the event we mix them all up and people get to choose which one they would like and they get to take one home.

    • Book bedazzling- $30 per person (mix genre of books will be provided along with all the supplies. Each guest gets to bedazzle and decorate the cover-You can then have them gift the books to the guest of honor or the guest can take them home).

    • Book Marks- $16 per person (each guest is provided with an acrylic plain bookmark to decorate. All supplies are provided)

    • For more extensive activities- flower arranging, fairy gardens, terrariums- let us know your interest and we can give you pricing based on your groups size.

 

Additional Information:

  • Magnolia Rose has our own parking lot. The whole lot surrounding our building is our property. Guests are welcome to park wherever they can find room. There are 20 pre-marked parking spots with additional room for parking in between. The handicap spaces are also ours and guests are free to use those as well.

  • Outside of our lot, there is street parking on Cambridge Rd and Murray Ave. Eventually there will be a public parking lot directly behind our building.

Please keep in mind that we are a small business and we work really hard to create a very unique and special space. Please do not bring in items that we offer as a small business. We are a full service florist- if you would like flowers for your event we offer them at discount rates for hosting in our space. We are also a plant shop- please do not bring in outside plants, we offer discount for party favors/plant décor etc. We are also a book shop! So please do not bring in outside books or activities that would resemble any of the ones we offer. We greatly appreciate your support and respect for Magnolia Rose- our customers mean the world to us and we genuinely are trying to create something magical to share with you all 😊

 

To reserve your date and space we require a $100 deposit.
